Candour wine is best served chilled. When enjoying at home we recommend pouring it into a glass for maximum enjoyment, although it tastes great directly from the can - making it perfect for picnics and outdoor gatherings!

Nope. Our cans have an inert liner that keeps the wine from touching the aluminium, so there’s no contact and therefore no effect on the taste of the wine. The only concerns with quality of canned wine stem from not starting with quality wine to begin with – something we would never do!

All of the wines that we offer come from winemakers who are extremely focused on sustainability. They all use organic farming practices, and several go even further, implementing biodynamic and regenerative farming practices. However, not all of them are certified organic (this is a huge expense for small winemakers) and that doesn’t bother us.

Other than a small amount of added sulphur, which helps to protect and stabilise the wine, there are no additives in the wines we choose to work with.

Candour wine is best enjoyed 12-18 months from the time of canning (this has to do with the cans and not the wine itself). We recommend drinking it fairly soon after purchase (these wines are meant to be enjoyed young and fresh - not aged).

Store your cans in the fridge or in a cool, dry place (such as a cupboard or pantry).

We want Candour to be a name people associate with quality and discovery. So, while you might not be familiar with a winemaker’s name, a grape, or a region, you’ll know that if we are working with the wine, it’s going to be sustainably-farmed, well-made and delicious. And when we run out of a wine, that’s it – onto the next one! There are so many small winemakers out there who we’d love to collaborate with, and we think this is the model that suits them, us, and you the best. Let’s keep it fresh, shall we?

Currently, Candour ships to the entire United Kingdom: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Shipping fee £2.99 on orders of less than 6 cans.

Orders are shipped Monday-Friday and in most cases we estimate delivery between 2-4 business days of your order. We use the courier DPD and don’t require a signature upon delivery.
