About 95% of wine is made to be enjoyed young, not aged.

There’s just no reason for these

wines to be bottled in glass.

Enter: the aluminium can,

the lightweight,

single-serve alternative with

a 60% lower carbon footprint.

Aluminium is the most frequently recycled material in the world (and our cans are made with approximately 70% recycled material).  It preserves the freshness and vibrancy of the youthful, energetic wines we love, with no risk of cork taint, light exposure, or oxidation. Lastly, it comes in a convenient, single-serving size – great for outdoor adventures, times when you just want a single glass of wine, or when you’re feeling indecisive and want to try a few different styles.

What’s in the name?

Candour

(noun)

the quality of being open and honest; frankness.
"a (wo)man of refreshing candour"

We chose the name Candour because we hold honesty and transparency as values core to our mission. The wine industry is famously opaque – labels are regulated differently in each region, making it hard to decipher exactly what you’re buying, and exactly what’s in the bottle (or what isn’t – there are dozens of additives commonly found in commercial wine). We want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to know what they’re buying, where it came from, and who made it.
